Tim and Betty Resler, both children of Minister fathers, are a Muncie, Indiana duet known as "A Touch of Class". They have been entertaining their fans professionally for six years, but individually they've been singing for most of their lives.

They have been singing at places like Traders Country Village for two years, where the environment became not only a place to make friends but was also a great learning experience for the musicians. Some of the excitement was being part of the opening acts like T.G. Shepard, which Betty Resler stated was simply 'wonderful'. This two-some hosted the Farmers Pike Festival in Hagerstown last year and played to a full house. Betty said they had a great time meeting all the local groups that performed. One particular morning they opened the show singing gospel and Cal Newton, best know for the Gaither video's, picked up a microphone, walked on stage and began singing with them. They were very honored and hadn't actually met him before the stage debut.
Performing for the American Cancer Society, the Madison County Special Olympics, the Riley Children's Hospital and the Salvation Army are the backbone of this duet and keeps them grounded and focused to what is important in life.
Muncie Indiana's Mayor Dan Canon, in appreciation recently presented Tim and Betty Resler the Key to the City, for their community dedication and service. Tim & Betty were awarded a plaque for the Best Musical Group at the St. Patricks Day Parade, and they also recently received a plaque for their efforts in promoting Community Oriented Policing here in Muncie / Delaware county. The C.C.L. President Roger Overby presented the award.
In Muncie they have also been very supportive of events at Muncie's C.O.P. Shops, one of such events being KIDs DAY They have also been made Honary Deputies by Delaware County Sheriff Steve Aul. Tim and Betty work very hard to better their community and are very honored to receive these rewards.
Tim and Betty are currently releasing their first album. This is an exciting time for them. The demand for a CD has pushed them into making the CD and Cassette for dedicated fans.
The duet prides themselves on singing a variety of music depending on the venue. If the place calls for gospel, they sing it. If they ask for country or soft rock, they sing it. They're a crowd pleaser. This is probably why they maintain such a full schedule.
