 The type of music Theatre of the Mind plays is electronic, ambient, experimental, sometimes trancey. A variety of synthesizers, samplers, drum machines and audio-looping devices are set up to produce a palette of sounds, textures and rhythms which develop combinations of active, up-beat and sometimes tranquil and meditative compositions with full orchestra effect. Theatre of the Mind has been performing live steady for at least five years in Philadephia, New York, Baltimore in clubs, galleries, cafes, festivals, theaters and even radio stations. T.o.M. was a resident music source for a local dance company for a couple years. This included installations and live theater performances with dancers and video graphics. Theatre of the Mind has produced special events in the Philadephia area.
