 Mikey Papers is a Baltimore groove-core band consisting of: Steve Smith (Gilligan)- Drums Rob Drinkard- Bass Jeremy Jones- Guitar Mikey Papers- Vocals
We basically write about how much we hate everyday society, and we really hate dead-beat parents.Everyone in the band is missing one of there parents as a result of irresponsibility or just a lack of caring.So we all really put our hearts and souls into our music,and we all"click". |
 We consider ourselves true "mutt-rock",with influences ranging from Sublime to Deicide,Wu-tang to Korn,System of a Down to Incubus.When we say these groups we mean it, you hear all these influences and then some. We really hate to put ourselves in a category,but if we had to, we consider our style of music " Groove-Core ".We say this because we have a lot of groove with a hard-core edge.Imagine Puff Daddy colaberating with Slipknot with Feildy (KORN) playing bass,that is a rough example of us. |
 We would just like to give a little shout-out to all the poor kids out there that have to deal with little rich PUNKS at school because they can't afford name brand clothes and shoes. |
